The great work of the community team in providing meals for vulnerable children, laptops/tablets for care homes, and providing shopping for those shielding, has not gone unnoticed.  England Rugby and their sponsors Mitsubishi Motors have seen what we doing, and have sent this message.

Throughout the Guinness Six Nations, Mitsubishi Motors, with the help of their partners England Rugby and Scottish Rugby, and a squad of union legends, will be sending personalised video messages of Mitsubishi ‘Motor-vation’ to fans across the nation. Messages of Mitsubishi ‘Motor-vation’ are intended to reward and recognise those who have made a significant and positive impact upon others during these tough times, offer a pick-me-up to those in need of a lift, and simply to give a shout out to avid super-fans.

Mitsubishi Motors heard about all the amazing initiatives Cambridge RUFC have been running to help your local community throughout the lockdown, and to reward and recognsie the club for this fantastic work I am delighted to say, you have been chosen to receive a message of Mitsubishi ‘Motor-vation’ from England Men’s player, Ben Earl!

While it's great to get his recognition it is equally important to hear what sort of impact this has had on lives in and around Cambridge.

"Our children are really enjoying their meals and I really appreciate them, it has helped us so much as well.  You are doing such a kind thing and we are so grateful." Mrs S. Mother of 3, Cambridge

Thank-you once again to all the people who have donated and to Jos Viva Kitchen and Cantab Catering.
