Joining Willie Priestley as 1st XV hookers this season are new signings Ben Brownlie and Corey Lewis. All 3 players have slightly different profiles which will allow us the required depth to perform at the top end of National 1.

Willie Priestley- Willie joined the club at the beginning of the 2019-20 season and quickly established himself as a reliable and popular member of the squad. His accuracy at set-piece allowed us a strong platform to launch off last season and we will be looking for more of the same again. Willie is a positive character to have around the squad and helps contribute to our overall environment.

Ben Brownlie- Ben joined Cambridge a number of years ago as a back row forward, before heading off to play in the Championship with Nottingham. His game awareness and physicality on both sides of the ball will contribute significantly to how we want to play this season.

Corey Lewis- Corey joins us from Championship team Ampthill where he featured last season. Previous to this, he played BUCS Super Rugby at Cardiff Met University, going on to represent England Students. Corey has a strong understanding of the game and is comfortable on the ball. His ability to move the point of contact is exciting for how we want to attack this season.
