We are excited to partner with Quantrax, a UK based GPS software company who will be providing the club with the latest player tracking technology.

Last year we were fortunate to use a similar system which helped us manage the training load of the senior players. The devices were instrumental in supporting both the medical and strength and conditioning teams, allowing them to make quick and informed diagnostic decisions based on the data they were receiving.

Since my early conversations with CEO Pete Tierney, I have been extremely impressed by the value for money of this product, along with the level of expertise and bespoke approach.

The devices will also be used to support our Academy Students to enhance their understanding of work load and maximal effort.

Tom Sully one of the clubs Strength and Conditioning team said ‘The S&C team is excited to get started with the Quantrax GPS tracking system, being cloud based it will let us easily share information and its platform allows players and coaches to explore the data at their own pace. We are impressed by the team developing the software and look forward to working with them to develop rugby specific metrics.’

CEO Pete commented ‘Quantrax is pleased to announce that is supplying their latest GPS player tracking technology system to Cambridge RUFC, allowing them to track player’s performance in games and training and enabling players to access their potential. What is unique here is that the Quantrax system will allow them to track player’s in-group and individual training, accelerated rehab and remote monitoring anywhere in the world, helping to combat COVID-19 restrictions. We have been impressed by the forward-thinking nature of Richie and the whole club and are excited about seeing the players in action.’
