Dear M&Y Parent

Firstly, I want to wish all parents, coaches, players and volunteers a Happy New Year.

Obviously disappointing news to start off 2021 with Lockdown 3.0 coming into play, and effectively no rugby training for the near future. We will of course be keeping an eye on RFU & Government protocols, and offer your children rugby training and fun when we are allowed.

MEMBERSHIPS

Many thanks to ALL parents that have paid their 2020/21 season memberships. A club like CRUFC needs all the support we can get, and it really is much appreciated.

We understand that training has been sporadic and without the guarantee of rugby, we are looking at how best to offer some form of compensation for those that have supported the Club.

The Committee has made the decision that ALL fully paid members from the M&Y section will be getting next season (2021/22) at a 50% reduction – as a thank you.

For those that are yet to register/sign up/pay, we would ask that you action this asap in order to get the 50% discount for 2021/22 season.

We will be contacting all those parents that are outstanding with their registrations and memberships, asking for your action:  IF YOUR CHILD HAS REGULARLY ATTENDED TRAINING THIS SEASON (Sept to Dec) AT CRUFC, WE DO ASK FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND TO PAY YOUR DUES.

If you have concerns, questions, need help on the membership and payments, please contact Nick Dance at mailto:my.chairman@crufc.co.uk

INVOLVEMENT

We will be looking at ways to keep our M&Y members involvement with rugby

  1. Get Your Shirt On – every week RFU are replaying their videos on YouTube of how to keep active for (for children) – GET YOUR SHIRT ON – for ALL age groups (U18s and below)
  2. CRUFC Community - Ben Penfold (CRUFC Community) is arranging some Webinars/Zooms and other ideas. Please keep an eye on the Club’s social media portals and website for info on this.
  3. Photographs - We would love to see any pictures you may have of your child training/running/keeping active with his/her Cambridge RFC shirt on – email us your pics at my.chairman@crufc.co.uk

Finally, we are always seeking volunteers to assist with various small admin jobs, so if you would be eager to help out, please get in touch.

Thank you all for your ongoing support and we hope to get the children out on the rugby pitch as soon as we are allowed.. Stay Safe.
