George Bretag-Norris will lead from the front again this season, continuing as captain having led the team to its highest points total and league position for over a decade last season.

George commented “It is an honour and a privilege to have the opportunity to lead Cambridge again this season.”

“With the foundations that we have built as a team over the last few years, we’re in a strong position to push the club to new heights and I’m looking forward to playing my part in that journey”.

Director of Rugby, Richie Williams added “It has been great to see the growth in George as a player and as a leader over the past 18 months.

“For me, he was one of the most consistent performers in National One last season. We are fortunate to have a number of other leaders within the group, that will continue to support George and the team on and off the field.”
