Cambridge RUFC

The final game in the pool stages of the Under 15s cup for this season saw Cambridge take on  St Ives. Cambridge started well and maintained a strong performance throughout the fixture however Cambridge did not have it all their own way with St Ives putting in a strong performance in defence and coming back with two well worked try’s

Scores from Bertie Whymark, Daniel Kember, Patrick Mangell 3, Tom Prior, Einaras Grigas, Thomas Bickley, Jake Barry, Ethan Weston, Keir Harper

A good day with the boot from Thomas Bickley with a number of successful conversions.

The final score 63-12 against a good St Ives team who never gave up until the final whistle.

A good run out from all the Cambridge team today with an especially good performance from Patrick and Thomas Bickley, but the man of the match award today went to Einaras Grigas for a good all round performance and for turning defence into a great attacking option.

Thank you St Ives and good luck for the rest of the season.
